| The B.E.L Safety Rail System is constructed of steel material and is easy to assemble. It provides a warning system that can be utilized at roof openings, along the leading edge of buildings during both new and retrofit construction. The System incorporates design and engineering which complies with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Code for the Province of Alberta Part 22, Section 315 (1), (2) and (3). The engineering of the design permits the system to withstand the forces exerted by a worker stumbling against the system, guidelines for exerted force are based on a load of 200 lbs. applied to the system. |

The stability of the B.E.L. Safety Rail System is based on the ability of the given substrate integrity to provide an acceptable connecting point to which the System is attached. On the left, you see the B.E.L. Safety Rail System set up on top of the Alberta Roofing Contractors Association office in Calgary, Alberta. |
| On the right, you will see a diagram showing a typical application of the B.E.L. Safety
Rail System. Using a combination of Strong steel cable and Engineer Inspected posts affixed
(clamped and/or screwed) directly to the substrate, the System affords workers and supervisors
that extra boost of both Safety and Confidence. As with all equipment, inspection must occur at regular intervals. The B.E.L. Safety Rail System is designed to be easily inspected by a properly trained and competent worker. |
